  • Went with the eBay one , so thanks to you and @Brun for the recommendation.

Have printed the nut and bolt, and a little personalised lego brick which it did with zero issues. Now attempting to print a lego car stand. After that is some monopoly money organisers for my daughter...

  • Excellent. Sorry, realise I never replied to your email about ease of setting up but trust it was straightforward enough.

You might've read stuff about using a piece of paper to set the gap between nozzle and bed. I used that method for a while but found it vauge in terms of how thick or resistant to movement the paper should be. Instead, I found it much easier to shine a bright light from behind the nozzle and simply eyeball it as close as possible.

If you have any issues with print bed adhesion (or rather lack of), ScotchBlue masking tape seems to help. I've seen there are specific products which claim to as well, but haven't tried any myself.

    Which slicer are you using?

  • No problems, was amazed how easy it was to set up!

Yes, used the paper approach aligned with some eyeballing, seems to have worked so far.

so far things are adhering well, but only doing relatively simple prints, nothing with supports needed yet.

It is mesmerising to watch it work...
