Now predicted we will have power back by midnight tonight. Not good for my immediate neighbour who is paralysed from the chest down who needs an air bed to avoid sores etc.
When I called the power company for the third time to request a generator to power medical equipment and again had to point out that sending my neighbour with compromised breathing to hospital might kill him I was told they apologise for the inconvenience. Trying not to scream swear words down the phone I did my best to calmly explain an inconvenience is the deep freezer of food that’s going to be wasted.
