Have already put a message out to the members of the parish council. Which includes a few farmers so fingers crossed.

Carnage on Leyton High Road. Two cafe chairs, a bin, and one of those things the fruit sellers put their fruit on in the road. And I saw a man's woolly hat be blown off his head.
Is there a disaster relief giving site?

our friend who bought our old flat in morden just sent this... if the tree fell other way it would have landed in northern line depot.

Great sheets of wrinkly tin currently stripping of a barn right near the office.
Unnerving to say the least.Know this feel too.
(There is now one less corrugated panel on the neighbour's roof and the one to the left is lifting up. I reckon it'll all go if the wind keeps up.)

Ours, the enclosure got bent up earlier in the week. We just dropped the netting today, to try and prevent a massive sail.

Just popped out front to take the dog for a piss and it was perfectly still, mostly because the block was providing shelter. However, it appears that a parked motorbike has been blown about 2 to 3 meters into my neighbours car.

Little sister is flying back from Rome to Heathrow at the moment with her family. She's a nervous flier at the best of times. I don't think she's going to like this one.

Went to drop Luddlet #1 at the station, just after he walked in to the station a huge ridge tile lifted off and smashed on the ground just outside the doors. For some reason the station staff didn’t close down that entrance.
When I went back to collect him (train going nowhere as the control room roof at Banbury had flipped onto the tracks) it was still scattered across the entrance, people still coming and going. Son was standing well away from the building. They had taped off an area at the other end of the building where some more tiles had come down.

Dutch weather is not great either. Volvo's proven itself again though.

My sister once landed in Hong Kong airport during a typhoon. She said when some of the air stewardesses started crying, you know it’s pretty serious. Pilot abandoned the landing 3 times before nailing it on the 4th to much cheering and tears. She was not a nervous flier until that point.

Just hold a bedsheet aloft or something and she'll be here within minutes

Kind of relieved my wife’s flight from Scotland has been cancelled. No power so central heating isn’t working here. And I can’t cook. May go to nearest town to get a curry takeaway.

How big is your neighbours car that a motorbike can be 3 metres inside it?!

A birch came down on my neighbours house. No-one hurt, looks like some damage to their extension.

The old airport? That was pretty terrifying at the best of times!

New or old HK airport?
I've landed during a typhoon. Deathly silence during the final approach then applause. Very weird experience.
Wife and I discussed this morning which tree was liable to go today. This was my candidate….
It’s now got some serious tilt, but I don’t think it’ll go all the way.
