New or second hand
No movement preference
Plain Bezel
Steel bracelet
Up to 42mm wide but not too tall
Not an investment but ideally something that should retain at least 50% in years to come if well looked after
Quality over current brand popularity trends
A real keeper that won't look like a Fisher price toy in 20 years time like my Red Tag f1 chrono
What are the criteria? Steel bracelet I assume? New or second hand also? Any particular movement type? The GS is on a completely different level of quality to the others, I would go for that if you’re happy with quartz (and their quartz is some of the best quartz there is).
If mechanical, I reckon you could get a BR V2-92 for not much more than two grand. I would definitely take that over a Tag or a Rado.
