Has anyone used the website litfad?

I like the look of this light fitting - but the reviews for the site/business are absolutely awful, though mainly about delivery times - but that's something that's not particularly pressing for me.

So yep, anyone used it and can vouch that it's not a wish.com type situation where you get something completely different than in the photos?

the builders have reassured me the floorboards will be fine but they'll do the extra structural support at my request
people say a skinny little shit like me can get away with 32 hole hubs maybe even 28

I've always built my wheels with 36 hole hubs with no exception, over engineering ftw !

you could order it from Aliexpress. Most bad reviews are probably from people who don't realise it's just a chinese reseller.

Can't understand why you don't like the price of those, the free shipping makes it an absolute bargain.

In all seriousness there is at the very most about 2 hours work in putting together and finishing the wooden aspects of that fitting and the base seems to be a light box. I think that you should be able to put something together for much less than £200 even given the current price of walnut.

Any recommendations from the many cheaper online picture framing companies? I have a bunch of prints that need doing and not infinite budget - is there anything to choose between the many choices I get from Google? Anyone have any recommendations?

I've got a bed on a handmade carpet which has a pretty broad weave. Cocnerned about damage to the carpet. Any suggestions for platform (figure transparent) that bed legs could go on to minimise any damage?
