  • I went about 6 months reading the calories for pasta as uncooked weight, when they are listed as cooked weight (which, btw, is fucking stupid and unhelpful). Dramatic difference between the two.

    Still lost about 15kg though so obviously didn’t matter too much!

  • I think for pasta and rice, 100g dry weight ends up being about 250g cooked weight.
    Also cooked weight changes on how Al dente, type of rice and pasta, and each meal could swing 2-400kcals if you’ve under estimated.
