That copy seems a bit too focused on 'luxury' and being ostentatious than it is focused the enjoyment of watches.

I do really like it. I love an easy to read watch and like the hand style too. It's a proper workhorse too. It's just that when I open my watch box I always end up wearing my Muhle terrasport chrono instead and I'm not into collecting watches that I don't wear anymore.

Did you sell the Steinhart GMT?
No, will prob put on ebay when I'm back in the UK.
Sad really. It's a lovely watch but I just never wear it. Smith's Everest gets chosen every time.

Also, if anybody is after a GPS watch, I've just put a Fenix 5 up for sale in the running thread.

Dear all, notice of upcoming fire sale !!
I've been offered one of my grail watches a 1969 ( birth year ) Speedmaster prof
box n papers and an extract from the factory archives.
so as a result I am selling a load of bits n bobs including that Seamaster 200 I posted a few pages back plus my 2020 Seamaster 300 , and a 1968 Omega chronostop . Seamaster 200 will come in a lovely Omega leather travel case that I got from Omega at Baselworld .
I will pop some pictures up laters .
PM me for details , all really lovely and all with a current warranty either from STS or Omega themselves. All bargains !! -

Congrats on the Grail, GLWS for the rest.
I would be keen on the Chronostop but MrsDeth has very firmly advised me more watches in the foreseeable future would be a bad idea (we need an expensive roof repair imminently and all funds are being directed to that) -

Nice. Get some pictures of the '69 Speedmaster up. 321 or 861, either way super era.
What is the ref of the Seamaster 300 for sale?

I didn't expect to like it as much as I do. I bought it because I wanted a tough quartz that didn't look terrible and wasn't dive watch styled and this was one of the few that met the criteria.
It actually looks far better in the flesh than in pictures though and it's much more understated than I expected.

It's an 861 which is my preference surprisingly .
The seamaster is 210.30.42.20.06.001
The blue bezel / silver grey dial . On a bracelet but with rubber strap as well.
New rrp went up today. -

• #60923

-

Ain't that the truth!
Just in case anybody is interested, I've still got an Alkin Model 1 for sale. If no interest here, I'll put on eBay.
Very slight hairline scratch at 9, other than that in excellent condition. I've posted a photo that shows the worst angle I could find to depict the scratch.
Timegrapher shows movement is in excellent condition (three different positions), which is no suprise as this watch has been in storage pretty much since I bought it. I think I've worn it less than a dozen times in total.
£200 posted.
