My third guess was a word that I would consider more obscure than what the day's word was. With hindsight everything is obvious, of course. I'm just starting to see a pattern with my early guesses where I think I should have tried a 'simpler' word. I'm over-thinking it!

Yeah, this is what I was getting at the other day. It’s tempting to think that there is a particular ‘Wordle word’. Or that a guess that was incorrect, couldn’t have been correct. This slows me down massively in my gameplay, but on reflection it’s totally irrational. If the game accepts it, it could have been correct.
