Okay not manual labour, but as this definitely isn't "fashion" and I don't want to start a new thread: where can I order decent quality, good fitting chinos that are smart enough to rock for the office? No fancy details, just classic, good cut and fabric.
I've ordered loads from different places and haven't been happy with any of them. UniQlo used to be my go-to but I can't get to the shops and their online store is basically a waste of cyber-space. They never have any stock available.

Can anyone recommend a good pair of dungarees, potentially insulated? On weekends we're outside for a few hours everyday and it's too cold for jeans and longjohns and I'm fed up wearing my goretex salopettes.
Carhartt could work but it'd be nice to have some other options

I've got a pair you can have.
You UK and how tall. -
• #335
I'm in Sweden so would need to be posted = potential nightmare
187cm though if you're up for it. I'm happy to pay of course.

A little shorter than me, so should do you well.
When I'm home at the weekend, I'll dig them out and be in touch.
Post NP.

Amazing, thank you.
Mind if I ask what you have? :)

What kind of Swede are you? Get a pair of dobsoms (links aren’t working for some reason?)

Came across the Kuhl brand whilst in Canada recently, their work pants looked particularly good. Not sure if they are available over here.

Dockers are the obvious, loads of different styles and fits. Probably not as cheap as in the US though.

Can't remember offhand, but they're black and quilted.
Don't think they had much use as I had to switch to orange hi-viz.
I don't know if you would call them stylish, but I look good in anything, so...

Sounds good, I'll PM

I think the M&S ultimate ones are the best fitting and most comfortable I've found

Gap chinos slim fit were my daily drone wear for a long time (or their cords).

M&S ultimate
Agree these are good or otherwise, I have had some Levis slim taper chinos (cheap from TKMaxx) for years that have been pretty indestructible, the ones with button back pockets, not open ones

I'd agree but their website is painful. For a brand that's gone virtual they seemed to have missed the point.

Filson double tin cloth bibs are awesome. I have a pair and for cold days wear merino leggings underneath. I have always hankered after their mackinaw wool bib trousers but they rocketed in price two years ago so that ship has sailed.

Me, this time next year.
In all seriousness though. Spendy but prob worth it, looks bang on brief. Let's see what scilly comes back with, hopefully something a touch cheaper :)

That’s how I always imagine I look. The reality is sadly disappointing

I hankered after them for years and then a pair turned up on sportspursuit for less than £150.
That's the one. Shame it didn't fit. Will do some one proud.
