Question, what are the two holes next to the steerer for?
-
• #5
Presumably the cable exit
-
• #6
Yup - I think as a lot of cable routing in frames is focussed around the head tube entry that these are to bring the internal routing as close as possible - I bought these for the System Six as a much lighter stiffer option to the Knot bars

Exactly what I had hoped...but now you've confirmed, the conundrum begins. I hate the Knot bars on mine with a passion.
Edit: in the link there's even a 'Dale

I'll have a think as stem might be 2cm too short 😞

I have the System Six integrated spacer for the frame aswell.
I loved the look and shape of the Knot bars but wanted the lightest, stiffest possible alternatives.
You certainly don’t suffer with T-Rex arms like me lad 😂 -

Annoyingly I think I'm just going to have to shell out for a new set in the right dimensions - 38cm by 120mm. They look great and the only bit of the SS I think that could be improved. GLWS matey

Hah my last bike fit was for TT and now the long seatpost length is mirrored by an equally long, super-angled set of extensions. Basically like the Ganna setup, but even more ungainly 😔

Yeah don’t worry about it mate - good news is that farsports is bloody excellent from a shipping / delivery and customer service perspective - the initial bar stem arrived in well under a month but they forgot to include the system six bearing cover.
I pinged them a message and they had one shipped fedex from China that arrived in 48h.
With the innovation and quality control of companies like farsport and LightBicycle I really don’t know how Enve, for example, can still charge £300 for a stem and £4K for a set of wheels, that could only ever be described as just about en par. -

I have a set of these on my Supersix, they're excellent. For those interested, if the -10 angle is a bit much for you, you can get a shim to reduce it to -7. GLWS

I wish it had some flare to use it on my gravel bike
