But that’s rotating something that you have to read. It’s not asymmetry that bothers me, with the rotate-a-dates it’s the way they’re trying to hide the date in plain sight in a really dumb way. Seiko and GS have some shockers for that.
For me, the date on the A384 and their other vintage designs (eg that new Defy vintage revival) is actually pretty well executed, all things considered. They work the window into the rest of the dial quite well. Still don’t like a rotated date but there are worse offenders than Zenith.
