Trying to figure out where you are there. Heading south back towards red mountain? Or am I totally out?
I've done a lot of riding there over the years. Hired a road bike once, was bored shitless... so have gone offroad every time since. Much more fun. Especially fat bikes.
I'm heading out again this April for two weeks, was considering taking my gravel bike instead of XC bike.
Edit.. basically don't crash. That's the lanzarote rule. If you do, it's going to be messy!

I quite liked it for road riding. But I lived there for about 6 months, thats was well enough to ride all the roads in the island...twice.
I was thinking of going back for a week next year, maybe it would make a lot of sense to bring my gravel bike instead.

Heading out north of Teguise in that photo, to the west of Los Valles. Up Calle Dulcinea in Teguise and keep going.

Yep, learning that. It was strange, I've never actually been blown off a bike before. I suppose they really did mean it with those weather warnings.

Hi!
Has anyone got anything bad to say about Carbondas? Esp for offroad? Some handsome frames like the CFR707. They also do nice paint 👌🏻. Any news on how Amey’s Carbonda’s getting on?

This with drop bars would implode the universe.

Amey's Carbonda eventually ended up with me. I then sold the frame on, then when the buyer went to build it up he discovered it had a cracked along the top tube seam. Carbonda said it was out of warranty and I did a partial refund and he got it repaired.
Prior to the crack incident it seemed like a great frame... I swapped out the Carbonda frame for a bombtrack hook ext-c which is quite possibly made by Carbonda anyway.
Anyway, tl:dr I'd probably take a risk on buying one, but would keep a careful eye on it and be prepared to warranty.
I believe their warranty is pretty much the same as you'd get from bombtrack or on-one or any of the other companies selling similar frames. -

Build date through for my sonder Camino Al axs.... Only march which seems very reasonable these days

Found pictures of that Carbonda crack. But it is an older model and am sure they'd have warrantied it if it had been within warranty period.
The second green Carbonda looks pretty much identical to my Bombtrack, would be surprised if they're not coming out of the same factory. I have done tons of quite rough off-road riding on that and it's been great.

Oh nice, been trying to convince my pal to order one. Seems like one of the best value bikes around at the moment. Rival axs really shows up what mugs Red axs buyers are…
Be keen to hear if they stick to their delivery times. Assuming your expecting delivery in march too?

yeah, its a chunk cheaper than most of the competition
they've only said a build time, but I would hope that they'll send it out pretty quick once its done

Carbonda
Someone forgot the "bond" in Carbonda. For that reason, I'm out.
