Throwing another cat in the bag about paying for private security when that ginger bloke comes over from America. Desperate measures from the royal pr to keep the nonce out of the news.

Weird use of wording when talking about gov making the bbc "pay" for the over-75s licenses, it's a made up charge, they're reducing the amount of income it generates but they're not "paying" for it.
as someone who grew up counting literal pennies to buy food as a kid in a single parent family and having to suffer the indignity of the constant fear and harassment piled onto us by that fucking bunch of cunts for being on their list of people not able to afford one, the tv license and its enforcement can get in the fucking sea and fucking drown.

I find it really interesting that now that the supposed plan has been published, can it still be pulled off, can they really give Gavin fucking Williamson a peerage with a straight face

Surely there has to be some kind of reward for being that good at selling fireplaces

My understanding is that the way the plan works is that you imagine the worst thing possible, and then that is part of the plan.
So all seems to check out

Well - defunding the BBC seems to be detracting very nicely from partygate, so pretty well so far. I'm sure setting the Navy on asylum seekers will also do the job.
I find it really interesting that now that the supposed plan has been published, can it still be pulled off...
Despite Allegra Stratton resigning for laughing at the thought of describing parties as work events, they still went ahead with that. Shameless modus operandi - just stick with the lie for long enough that the news cycle moves on.

The BBCs own coverage of this is hilarious though.. Meta.

It seems Operation Big Dog’s Breakfast has seamlessly transitioned into Operation Red Meat.
The headlines tomorrow will be fun as will PMQs on Wednesday and that’s before the graywash report is published.

Royal Navy vs asylum seekers update.
BBC R4 World at One, well-spoken Naval guy suggests
the current deployment of 4 vessels for 3000 miles of coastline
can have little effect. -
