John Madden
A name perhaps best known for the NFL video games that carry his name.
A legend of a broadcaster; still the best color commentator of any sport in any era. His voice filled every Sunday of mine for a long time.
He is still the winningest NFL head coach, by win percentage, of all time. And a Superbowl winning one too.
Very few people transcend their place to become the embodiment of an entire game. Madden was that guy.
