Thanks @Grumpy_Git. Only correspondence so far has been over email based on my written description of the faults. Once they receive and physically assess the watch they will contact me regarding detail & payment so will ask then on what exactly they intend to do. As long as it comes back working & as accurate as before I'll be happy...
Just a quick update on my Seiko Kinetic Diver that's doing a 2 second sweep (low battery/capacitor). x3 Seiko dealers have declined to repair it and all have told me to send it off to Seiko UK. I finally got a response from their Service Centre today as I assume they've been closed over Christmas.
"Thank you for your email, we can service your watch for a cost of £110.00 , please return it to our service centre address below with a covering note and your details, our turnaround once here is 6-8 weeks."
