This is a chart showing actuals and forecast GDP growth for the G7. We'd be bottom if it wasn't for Japan's recent blip.

The only context in which you can argue that our actual growth is faster than the rest, is if you don't take into account that our economy suffered by far the most in the G7.

I like the Colston verdict, but is there a legal basis for it? The defence was that the statue was akin to a statue of Hitler in front of Holocaust victims, therefore immoral and insulting and should never have been there. But how is it not criminal damage to chuck it in the harbour?
