Here is THE machinery I use.
My dad bought it in flea market 15 years ago because "it looked really good". I assume he is a designer not without a reason

Das nice.
(Sorry, but I'm also compelled to send your intro to the Golf Club thread :)) -

Not sure how making your own bags is anywhere close to golf club. Golf clubbers would pay someone to make their bags.
OP: Looks good, except that hair is doing my head in (I leave hair all over the place here so it hits too close to home :))

Hey, we also discovered a whole ancient sewing table with machine in the upstairs room of a relatives house.
I'll get a picture next time we're there.
Can I ask where the bags are being made?

Thatβs great work, had you learned how to use a sewing machine and make stuff previously? Show us the previous attempts! I like the green

@psg1ben Nice one!! I hope it works haha I live in Lithuania, Vilnius. The land of potatoes.
@stelfox I haven't really. I made a bunch of tea towels to practice stitching lines, got bored and moved on to bags- made a really crappy top tube bag out of rain jacket & now this one. Top tube bag is flopping all over the place when riding because there is no padding but atleast i learned a lesson.

The Fiskars nail clipper is the sign of a connaisseur, I like their bonsai clippers for relief cuts too.

It's been a long week, got hit with load of work but managed finish the bag. Need to get couple of voile straps to test it on road.
It has a floating liner with two flat pockets inside
I thought that 1000d nylon + xpac vx21 + liner would be heavy but it turned out just sub 500 gr.

Lately, I realised that I have more time than I need. Also, I have a massive need of bikepacking bags, want a custom one, I love practical hobbies, thus I found a 1950s sewing machine in my parent's storage. Let's get it running again. Couple weeks later, I found myself ordering bunch of fabrics from Germany.
My first attempt on basket bag
