Trawling through channels, just stopped on Hot Fuzz. And almost instantly reminded about one of best cinema experiences, everything aligned.
I live in Hereford. Until relatively recently, we had a single screen with proper tip up velvet seats. We were out with my my mum, went for early doors pizza (was proper Italian owned, Hereford United photos on the wall, both sadly no longer). Pizza was everything we wanted and passed the cinema on the way to the car, a film was starting soon and we went it (as far as I’m concerned, being spontaneous has its time and place but this was Hereford on a Tuesday, normal rules didn’t apply). We didn’t know what we were doing, the film, and it was Hot Fuzz, was about to start, no expectations, joyous.
I had a point when I started but it’s lost in memories and feelings, I guess time and place is key.
Question is, which should I watch first, Point Break (no holds barred adrenaline thrill ride) or Bad Boys 2 (not so much)?
