I don't think that's true at all, it's very consistent with their other output except for the first Matrix film. Once they had the success to do what they want it's all pretty shit.

Checks out but would add in Bound as being decent pre OG Matrix and it all not ending well

I knew somebody would mention that but I don't like it, every other scene goes to slow motion
for no reason.
