Die Hard With a Vengeance.
With over 200% more action and ridiculousness, it really is a great popcorn film

I strongly agree.

For some reason my mum suggested Joker as a post christmas dinner film. Really glad she did! I enjoyed it a lot more than I was expecting. It turns out if you just point a camera at Joaquin Phoenix for a couple of hours you'll get something decent out of it.

Batman Returns as a follow up. Really stupid and camp, really fun. Enough Christmas references to count as a Christmas film. Michael Keaton is an absolute stinker but Walken, Devito and Pfeiffer will see you through.

Halfway through venom 2, absolutely shit, like a modern 80s action film shit, definitely watching the second half.

Watched Power of the Dog tonight, maybe not the most festive choice

Returns will always be great in my eyes, as long as Forever still exists.

We watched Don’t Look Up after dinner, another end of the world flick, good cast and well played, fun was had by all the family

Tom Hardy is like an 80's action film lead too.

As in, he can't act for shit. But is very pretty.

Normally he's great in stuff but it was just cheese all round, if there had been CGI in the 80s then a lot of films would've been like it.

A movie I like that seems to generally have flown under the radar but is particularly excellent and I’d like to recommend is Narc. Go out of your way to watch it if you haven’t.

No Time to Die - just a massive product placement topped with the worst Bond and not enough action

Yeah, it was fucking awful. Don't actually think he's the worst Bond, but he has been in some of the worst movies. Nanobots ffs.

Also, tried to watch Gremlins for the first time since the '80s for a fun little nostalgia-fest. Sorry, but it's aged terribly.

I prefer the 3rd to any of them, I think its the best in the series.

Watched Night at the Museum today, with kids, it was fun.
