Get a lithium battery. I had to redo all the alternator wiring on the 900ss. Replaced the lead acid battery with a Shorai and it’s 8lbs lighter!
Lithium batteries basically don’t go flat as long as there is no parasitic load.
Did you solder the connections ;) At a guess you have the three phase, not the single phase and some move the reg/rec in to the airflow to help it survive for longer.
Nah - still the old two wire. Reg / rec has been upgraded though. It was putting out over 13 at idle and mid 14 seemed about peak. Should work fine.
