Okay. Remember maybe 15-20 years ago when there was this company selling g body kits for a Toyota MR2 that made it look just like a Ferrari F355? I remember seeing it on top gear as a kid. It’s the same as that. It’s all good till you peak under the hood. Then you realize you have something that is not even in the same league. ‘Cloning a movement’ doesn’t mean it’s the same at all. Like. Not even close.

Fair enough, I’ve seen articles claiming things both ways (although I’m not sure noob is top-tier any more) but not compared for myself. Some of them claim to clone the Rolex sub movement…
I’d like one to wind people up but not @ £500!
The car thing is a tortuous analogy anyway but I get that mentally one will never be the other, regardless of physical similarity.
