Thanks, I've got another 1100km to do this year to meet a decent milestone of 2021 mileage so I'm planning some decent rides in the week to come as the weather looks above freezing. I'm hoping Covid doesn't get in the way, I'm trying to stay as safe as possible but I'm still in the office.
Today is actually a big day in the challenge with 11 months completed and with 1 month left. I've got tomorrow off work and it's likely that Friday will be a half day so my plan is to ride a decent amount as I don't want the pressure of doing the full distance over the Christmas weekend, I plan to only do 100km over Christmas and Boxing day.

Thank you everyone, it's keeping me motivated through this week.
So today is Day 339 and I'm at 33,878km. Christmas has been good for me to catch up. I'm a day or two off from catching up and then I'll try and push through to gain a buffer for the last few weeks. I'm struggling with fatigue at the moment and my legs have a constant dull ache but it's important for me to secure this challenge now.

Well done on pulling it back!
Not been really cold must have helped but still not trivial in the middle of winter. -

Cheers, it's going well. Yes indeed, I'm glad I'm not fighting snow.

So the plan with the slow catch has worked and I'm sitting at day 340 having cycled 34,000km. Now i need to get a buffer of 100km or so, this will help with the mid week work grind.
I'm feeling fatigued at the moment, i guess this is because of the change in routine with Christmas.

Incredible.
In awe of your dedication.

Keep going man. Out of curiosity; the roads of East Anglia are obviously fairly flat, what about your rides on Zwift? Are you putting in climbing to vary things up or just focusing on smashing out the distance as fast as you can over courses with minimal elevation?

P.S. I’ve just hit 13000km for the year and am in absolute awe of how you’ve managed almost triple that whilst holding down a full time job.
I've just donated, keep up the amazing work!
