I am currently hating how much our local Tories are pretending to support disabled people because..cars.
They literally tried to use that C4 Dispatches as evidence to support their claim Tories are fighting for the rights of disabled people.

I didn't know that octopuses ate chicken.
It’s not meant to be taken literally. They’re saying that octopus eat tuna, which is the chicken of the sea and is sometimes served Fryed.
I didn’t know octopi ate tuna though.

(Grammar Nazi alert) Octopi is the only incorrect one (weirdly). You can have Octopuses or Octopodes but not Octopi apparently.

What, they didn't have clams in Rome?
-
• #18144
It’s hard to say. The earliest known reference to a clam is from 1570. A merchant made reference to one in what would now be considered a postcard, written to his cousin, a cleric. By this time, they were a globally traded commodity which makes it hard to tell if they were caught and eaten in Ancient Rome to any degree.

Setting the washing machine timer before bed, only to find out that the washing machine doing it's thing in the early hours of the morning sends the dog fucking mental. The days of waking up to a load of clean washing are behind me.
