Surprisingly everyone around here rides those roads with MTBs only.. What's your take on it?

I guess there are also some spicy single tracks linking them, where my 35c clad cx was wildly underbiked, that would justify a MTB, but totally not required in the sections pictured above.

With views like that, I might not care what type of bike I was riding :-)

Seeing as my default setting is 'explore all the small tracks' I'd probably go for the fatter tyred option. No sus though

Fair point. Although I suspect people around here are less impressed with the views.. The grass is always greener and all of that
