You have just given me, in one forum post, more information than I've been able to glean from my trial team and even the clinical director of the research facility here.
Sadly, I'm in Glasgow not London so the walk in at the Royal Free isn't an option!
Also, I do understand that your timeline might not be mine but its still absurd how little information I'm getting from them.
It seems I'm now on my way to getting unblinded and either a booster or a 1st/2nd dose.
A month seems like a long time to wait for a booster given that both the PM and our FM are urging everyone to get as vaccinated as they can asap.
I'm part of the same trial and just had my blood test today. They said Valneva are about a month away from offering booster jabs but I'm welcome to grab a Pfizer booster today from downstairs (in the Royal Free). Royal Free are doing walk-ins and there was no queue today at 10am if it helps.
The vaccine passport should be fine once Valneva has been approved in the UK which they think will happen in April. If you cant wait until then they can unblind you and from then you can either:
So TLDR; if you want/need a jab and youre in London, go to the Royal Free and they'll sort you out.
