How is he not been charged for fraud?

Google seems to claim that there is no crime because people willingly bought him stuff.

Take the flights as an example: He asks for a flight. Girl pays for flight (albeit because they think he doesn't have money). He takes flight.

Fair enough. I can just about accept that.

But in the case of the cash loans. He dishonesty fakes that his life is in danger and as a result of that lie girl brings cash/transfers funds, which he will pay back - so a loan. Then he falsifies bank transactions to pretend that he has repaid the loan, when he hasn't.

How does that not meet the definition of fraud?

Or is it that the definition of fraud in the various countries the girls are from, differs from ours? Or is there something to do with extradition laws with Israel which makes it a non-starter?

Just watched the finale of Stranger Things season 4.

Is it just me or was this billed as the final season at some point? Pretty pissed to sit through 180mins final episode only for it to set up another fucking season.

On the final episode, it had maybe 15 mins of good stuff and the rest was exposition or cliches.

This season feels like I’ve had my balls tickled for 8 weeks only for the missus to tell me she’s off on a work trip for a year.

Really enjoyed it. Lots of interesting twists and stood out from the usual shit.

I’d never watched stranger things but my partner had watched the first two seasons when they were out then didn’t continue. She wanted to watch it through so we’ve ploughed through the full thing over the last week and finished it this evening.

I’m pretty disappointed to be fair, the first season was good fun but from then it felt like they just started to write themselves into corners to then have to introduce elements to keep it going.

A lot of season 4 ended up annoying us. For the last episode specifically, as mentioned, the Vecna though the window not to be seen again is a convenient joke of writing. Eleven saving Max (albeit into the coma) is a joke. Just kill people, give some weight to your decisions. So many stagnant points of exposition that they easily could have given us over the rest of the season. Which actually thinking about it, they gave too much through the rest of the season anyway.

I hope season 5 is just Murray and Argyle on a road trip to California smoking weed, eating pizza and chatting about mad conspiracies.

What's the deal with Succession? I kept seeing these headlines about episode 3 being the best thing
on TV ever so I sat through 2 episodes with a bunch of accountants with verbal diarrhoea.

It used to be amusing when Kendall had his breakdowns but now they have absolutely nothing going on in their lives. Then in episode 3 Logan dies, ok so that's a big deal for the characters but I don't get what is so great about the episode. Did people get so invested in the details of those business deal that their mind is blown that it will not go ahead? Will they call Matsson or will they not?

This season has been really 0ne-note flat for me, let's hope they find another elderly character to say "fuck off" loudly in every other episode.
