I've seen quite a few walls painted too soon or without a mist coat where the paint fails to stick to the wall.
Stripping wallpaper is one of the worst jobs, looks like you've done well.

Not garage door level but currently 2 days into stripping the wallpaper, carpet and paint from the hallway ahead of the plasterer coming next weekend and the place looks absolutely terrible. Only gets better from here right?!?
