Yeah Spotify yanked support annoyingly. There was some expectation that they’d put out their own DJ software that is yet to materialise.
The DDJ200 worked alright with Bluetooth, just had to make sure you uses a wired speaker otherwise it was laggy and no good for beat matching.
Would need to check, but the Numark might work with Engine DJ as well as Serato. I’ve never used Serato but moved away from Engine DJ because I’ve been playing out on Pioneer/Rekordbox. Numark is part of the same group as Denon which makes Engine DJ and the new Numark all in-one mentioned up thread runs it. It’s not long had a major update, but I still prefer doing everything in Rekordbox.
I’d use it with a MacBook Pro. I use Spotify, but I understand nothing is compatible with it now - I’m resigned to using mp3s I guess (probably converting Spotify playlists). I did look at the ddj 200 but I didn’t like that it was based around a Bluetooth connection. It seemed a bit more toylike than the numark, for a similar price. 400 looks legit, but out of my price range I’d say.
