Thinking of getting some Magura MT5 Trail brakes for my flat bar commuter/gravel thing. Anyone tried them at all?

It was insanely cheap, but all the consumables had a 100 km life span.

I was chatting to my LBS mechanic about these the other day actually, they really rate them. Apparently better modulation than high end Shimano. The conversation came about as I was wondering if the apparent rise in Magura popularity over the last 6 months was purely based on availability
