If you can’t get out there in person fair enough. The next best thing is to donate. It costs a lot of money. Fuel is the big one. Also repairs to vehicles - the hunt and supporters regularly slash tyres, smash windows and do what they can to stop the sabs so vehicles have to regularly be checked up on and repaired. Please help where you can cheers.

He already took his (3 Michelin star) NY restaurant plant based, to much critical acclaim. Seems a shame the food people at Claridge's wouldn't want to follow that success.
Also set up an org to address food issues in the US providing nutritious plant based meals to communities in need using waste from professional kitchens. Plus he was a pro cyclists in his early career.

Also, if you see anything dodgy (loads of posh cunts on horses, loads of other posh cunts parked on the side of the road looking over a field, loads of dogs running around in a field etc) call the HSA tip off line with a location. Sab groups often rely on tip offs to find hunts.
On top of that, if you have any skills or time to donate that's always appreciated, if you're good with cars or electronics, those are always getting broken. If you're a designer you could offer to make some merch or sell a couple of prints etc, if you're good at organising things, fundraising events are really important.Edit: that was meant to be in reply to the hunt sab stuff.

A second study found that, in western countries, vegan and vegetarian diets were about a third cheaper to buy than regular diets, which the researchers said contrasted with the perception that they were the “preserve of a privileged middle class”.

Had a fantastic lunch at Stem & Glory by St Bart's yesterday. Really delicious food and a great beer list. https://www.stemandglory.uk/london

I was a sab for two years when I had more free time. It is one of the most shit ways to spend your day but also very needed. You don’t understand how much of a cunt people can be until you do some sab’ing.

You are mixing with the lowest of the low for sure. But nothing more satisfying to see them pack up and go home looking defeated and miserable.

Another vegan replacement product:
I'm always sceptical about these attempts at establishing massive industries to produce such things. It's that problem of parallelism; while this sort of stuff may replace some uses of animal leather (and, as ever, it's questionable whether it makes sense to call such analogues the same as what it's supposed to replace), I can't imagine that it'll have exactly the same qualities as animal leather, e.g. thermally. Maybe it does, but to think it'll make any real inroads into the demand for a waste product of the cadaver industry I think is a bit of a long shot. Hope I'm wrong.

That's quite an interesting one from some perspectives, if it really lives up to the claim of outperforming leather for strength and durability. Just last week I was chatting with someone about the lack of vegan options within motorcycle equipment (admittedly within a certain aesthetic niche). No boots essentially, and we couldn't think of a way of them being made but this stuff could maybe do the trick

Ate at Unity Diner last week for lunch. In Spitalfields.
Came away feeling very ill but only because I ate so much, it was so good. Filthy unhealthy, but good.
Burgers, dogs, fish n chips etc. Would recommend for some junk food indulgence -

On discovering that it's a not-for-profit, my gf said "we're basically giving to charity" as we stuffed our faces

How near is nearish? I was going to suggest The Begging Bowl on Bellenden Road, but might be pushing it (also closed between lunch/dinner times)

Well, I do hope that it'll live up to its promises, but so far we basically have a write-up of a corporate press release. Let's see.
Agreed. Have shared before but let’s share again..
