The middle aged thread

I only recently learned that "The Weeknd" is pronounced "The Weekend" not "The Weakened"
Couldn't hum a single bar of their music, mind you.

That's a pretty impressive commitment to have avoided hearing the new ABBA singles.
I've heard 8 of those that I am aware of - (about half of those via the kids).

Ha! Or hearing music in an aqua aerobics class and asking the instructor what track is playing and being told ‘it’s currently no 1’.

Happened to me a few years ago with ‘We no speak Americano’.

Can vouch for number 10 being a banger.

That's been the case for me since the 80/90s.

I did see "Self Esteem" on Russell Howard's TV show last night - so that must count for something...
