Do you reckon they could take a half crampon? Looking for some comfy hiking shoes for days where we aren't doing anything particularly technical.
I'm out of my depth here, have no idea what makes a good crampon shoe. They feel sturdy and firm, quite chunky compared to what I normally wear, qualities that may or may not lend them to cramping.
