@cornelius_blackfoot I purchased the Dazzler TERREX FREE HIKERS on your recommendation, and they're great; cosy, snug and stylish for the winter months, just the ticket. Will not be climbing Everest in them.

Do you reckon they could take a half crampon? Looking for some comfy hiking shoes for days where we aren't doing anything particularly technical.

I'm out of my depth here, have no idea what makes a good crampon shoe. They feel sturdy and firm, quite chunky compared to what I normally wear, qualities that may or may not lend them to cramping.
