That is a cracking price for the bosch.
I'd also add that chop saws are about accuracy and that costs money.
Another big plus for Bosch is their warranty which can be extended to 3 years if you register the tool within a month of purchase - I once dropped an impact driver form the top of a 5m tower swept up the bits of former tool and battery put it in a jiffy bag and sent it off to Bosch with "I dropped it" on the paperwork and got a replacement tool and battery within the week.
