The wheels and groupset are black carbon including cranks. I agree the black version would look better with a Colnago force or star fork especially as I'm trying to go all black with this but they all seem to be either attached to C40's with no NOS anywhere and i don't want to pay £150-200 for a tatty old Carbon fork. A Woundup would also look really nice so i may save up and swap/upgrade in the future as they are back in stock for the moment at least. Found this lovely Nitto stem which has just jumped the queue so now try to find a suitability pretty silver post. I don't mind mixing brands on these if they have no noticeable branding. Nitto seatposts are so heavy

i always use cheap tape for the first few months in the event I want to change the lever position or the bars or something.
i'd asked about the fork because i personally don't like a black headset and cockpit with a chrome fork, and i think the stem / bars / post should be the same color, at the very least. really i think they should all be of the same lineage unless you're using a campag post.
p-e-r-s-o-n-a-l-l-y, I'd do black groupset, black wheels and cranks, silver headset stem bars post.
no way on earth i'd use a threadless adapter.
