• I think a something like a Titan would look great but I'm try to keep this one on a diet which is why I've not really considered a quill stem on this but i have no issue with them in use and this one is pretty

    Titan is ~ 270g, adapter (~150g) and stem (~110g) would come out pretty much the same.

    I am running one at the moment and it seems solid and hasn’t slipped.

  • I've had quills before and the same as you never had any problems. I was thinking a light bolt on stem with shim, star nut, top cap and bolt would come in more like 170 g all in as I've seen shims for 13g. The fork will not be threaded but I've seen a couple of build vids for these where they cut the steerer short and wind a thread on the the top.
    EDIT: just realised you meant a quill to threadless adapter. I won't need one and if my fork was already threaded I'd go quill straight away as i don't fancy using an adapter.
