No. There were flags. The lights and steering wheel lights are driver aids. You have to comply with the flags, end of story. I've got a bollocking in the past for overtaking under a single yellow. It was a long way off track, out of my line of sight, and I didn't see it. Bang to rights though, so no whinging from me. Certainly didn't blame the marshals.

Is it true Max had no flags, no lights, and no lights on the steering wheel though? Feel like it's a valid penalty for the situation but if the track fucked up, it's not really fair to penalise someone who had absolutely no notification it was yellows.
