Released in 2016, the band were only 18 and broke up before the album was released. They printed 200 copies on vinyl (14 of which are logged on Discogs with no copies sold). I've had it on my wantlist since early 2017. It's a genuinely great album that reminds me a lot of Slint (both sound and backstory a little).
I was briefly browsing my wantlist a couple of weeks ago and a copy was for sale. For $20! I bought it immediately.
24 hours later, the sale was cancelled. The seller said that he'd listed it in order to sell to someone else and I'd sniped it (in the 2 mins after he'd listed it and before he'd messaged the other person) - astronomical odds.
We messaged back and forth and it turns out he was the guitarist / vocalist in the band (!) and that the one he'd just sold was his 2nd to last copy of the LP. However, he had a spare test pressing that I could have if I wanted.
$50 (inc shipping) later and I have a signed copy of a test pressing of an impossible to get album that I love.
It arrived!
