Last non-vegan thing I had was boiled eggs when I was running through the mountains in Afghanistan. When you're turning up at some of the poorest villages on the planet and throwing yourself on their generosity, you can't really give them a list of your western bourgeois proclivities. As the chickens were running around at my feet, I didn't feel too bad about it either.
Last non vegan thing I ate on purpose was an egg from a house with an honesty box where I could see the happy little chickens, mid way through riding Manchester to Brighton so was consumed boiled and put in a pot noodle, 6 months after going vegan.
Doubt I would again but not really against it if you've got chickens and they're going to waste otherwise. You could also just give them to someone who eats them, would save them buying farmed ones.
