I've already got a nice pickup set for it and some new tuners and a new bridge on the way so I'll rebuild it and get reacquainted with it and see if it warrants a refinish next year maybe, it is lovely as it is but it looks better in the pictures than in real life so I think the refinish might be inevitable but no rush.
I'm definitely leaning towards a Les Paul-esque burst though.
I would also like to have the opportunity to fill in the pickup ring holes and direct mount the pickups...

Half of me says do a number on it and go cherry sunburst a la Les Paul and the other half says leave it exactly the way it is... It's very handsome, I'd probably leave it and build it up with some nicer parts with the money you've saved...
