You probably know this, but Litter the crate with treats. So every time she goes in there, there are some treats to be found.
Odie was (is) a pretty lively puppy and with young kids, we found we’d often feel like putting him in his crate after he’d been a little shit. Had to really make sure we never sent him in there as a punishment: even if we were cross because he’d eaten an apple out of one of the girls hands or whatever, he’d be sent in his crate ‘nicely’ and then rewarded
