My 2010 mini had Bluetooth for calls but not for music. Music was either via a USB ipod adapter or aux.
Seems odd that a 2014 5 series would have had the same thing. But it could. Are 5 series like cheaper BMWs and Audis where they only give you 4 wheels and an engine as standard and make everything else an optional extra? Maybe the owner dgaf about BT integration.
Drove to Devon with a mate who refused to believe he couldn't stream his phone via BT and spent the first hour reading the user manual.

I've bought a 2014 bmw 5 series that has Bluetooth phone calls but won't stream music. Seems absolutely mental to me but I assume it was some money making scheme at the time.
I think it's got all the gubbins to do it, it just needs unlocking. Has anyone done it?
