I've used the anodised aluminium ones for various motorsport applications for probably the past 20yrs and had no obvious issues.

Have had the fittings fail due to corrosion on motorbike brake lines. Will add proof later.

No need to go mad with posting proof, i'm not saying you haven't, But it is worth noting that most applications would only use steel (or stainless) on brake fittings.

All of the anodized ones are for Fuel / Oil / Water only hence @Jung 's picture of a fuel line
