  • I have a couple of tickets to Squarepusher at Roundhouse on Friday night (29th). I now can't make it.

Anyone interested? They've got my name on them but I can't find anything on site or my original order that requires ID for entry...

  • Bumping the above…

  • Squarepusher

Would be an interesting wall of noise.

  • Yup. Gutted I can't make it but they literally only sent an email on Saturday saying it was going ahead and sent the tickets through over email yesterday. I'm already committed to something else.

  • Fuck’s sake, just seen this and I’ve literally, as in the last 15 minutes, just bought tickets for Talons on Friday night at Bush Hall.

  • One last bump for the squarepusher tickets for tonight. PM me if you want them.

  • Tonight...

  • noooo why didnt i check this thread yesterday

  • Because you hate yourself and don’t deserve anything nice?

Ended up sending them to some guy on Reddit.

  • At least they didn't go to waste.

  • True.

Not the best £50 investment I’ve ever made

  • I have so many gig tickets that are now all in 2022. I wonder how many I'm going to have to skip or sell on.

  • Up until last week I forgot I had a ticket for Paul Heaton at the Palladium which is tonight; first bought it two years ago. Ah.

  • I throw this kinda thing in google calendar so it spits reminders at me weeks and days out.

Otherwise I'd never remember anything was on.

  • 808 State at Earth tonight for me, which I got tickets for on 06/10/2019. I don’t even remember 2019 anymore.

  • 808 State was excellent. How a drummer can perform like that for that long I don’t know. Lights and lasers were insane and the energy was just constant. I never expected the live sax on Pacific State either. Only downside was that MC Tunes didn’t make a surprise appearance for a performance of Tune Splits the Atom as I’d wished.

  • Really? How was it? I last saw them in 1982... Is Daniel Ash still wearing fishnet tops?

  • 65daysofstatic tomorrow. Another one I've had tickets for since 2019 and looking forward to it.

  • Jim Bob (Carter) tonight.

  • Jealous. Bet it's a blast

  • I just got home. Highlight:

  • Saw him a few years ago on tour with Miles Hunt, most entertaining, especially when he decided the pissed guy at the front had out stayed his welcome.
Carter at Keele Uni (around 93/94) was possibly the most riotous gig I've attended.

  • Saw Tim Minchin the other night in Hammersmith after a ticket holder else dropped out. Very funny man. One too many emo tunes for my liking but the fun stuff was gold.

  • Off to Porridge Radio at Village Underground this evening. Originally had tickets to see them at Colours in April 2020 but that one was just cancelled off and the tickets were swapped over to the Village Underground gigs instead. Shame to not be seeing them in a smaller venue but should still be good.

  • Off to see Cabbage in Brighton tomorrow as one of their farewell gigs. Should have been making it biggish in the same way as Idles, Shame, Squid etc, but made a bunch of poor decisions and then the pandemic hit and they couldn't keep it together and build back enough to make a living.
