It was around longer than the white dial but it is a relative rarity in the sense that Rolex silver dials are usually a warmer champagne colour, not a proper colourless silver like this one. I don’t know how popular it was though, and maybe it also gets thought of as the “Domino’s Rolex”.
Give it a couple of years, they’ll bring a normal non-gilt silver one back.
Still think its a travesty that they've discontinued this. The new gilt handed version which I guess is the closest to this is nowhere near as classy.
