Yeah all fixed costs on their side but some price elasticity would be nice?
I’m now looking at first class trains and Ubers as much cheaper alternative. There must be some demand side stuff going on.

It's price elasticity which is causing 2-day and 7-day hire rates to converge

Apparently car rental firms are having difficulty buying new cars so there is less availability of hire cars than usual.
