• Mainly reading at home - the Anglepoise on my desk does ok for work, but my living room's quite dark, and (presumably because of advancing decrepitude) I've noticed I'm finding it harder to see small text/fine detail when sat reading.

  • Then tbh a floor standing or wall mounted anglepoise might suit you. To get enough light on the page for tired eyes from an overhead requires a very bright source that if poorly packaged will be very glary. Better to bring the source closer to you to get more light and avoid shadowing and glare. You can get high CRI in 2700k but it will yellow the white of the paper noticeably in the day.
