I hear you on all black wheels but sadly the MSW is not gonna stay black for long so may go tan to soften the horror of silver side wall.
Only a silver rim will not show braking. FWIW silver brake-track front and black rear looks fine. After all bikes (and fixed bikes in particular) ≠ vertical symmetry in profile so chasing that is an affectation <<< controversial opinion <<<
Built the bike you’ll love riding the most ✊🏽 Form follows function. You have lovely frames to play with.

TB14’s now on the track bike. Bit heavier than the Flirts but my legs need the workout and I’m digging the low profile look.

Looks light now. Have you weighed it?
-
• #255
6.8kg with the TB14's. I've had it down to 6.6 with different wheels but i don't think i'll notice the difference other than riding home up Fountain drive on a track gear.

Nice nice. Mine's at 6.8 without any real effort. I'm tempted to see if I can get it down to 6.5 with a couple cheap carbon parts

Yeah you'll hit that easy, are the Pistard's lighter than the Omniums? Kind or irks me to put heavier wheels on but they ride very nicely. Hate to admit it but I regret shifting my carbons, I like the classic look of the TB14's but the best C10's I've seen so far have deeper wheels on. With that gap at the front it's looking a little "airy" with skinny rims.

Just seen your post on Tom's thread about the chainring fitment on your 75 DD's.
When looking for pictures of chainring and crank combinations I found this one:

I think that Profile chainring would fit your Suginos nicely. ;-) -

Thanks, hadn't thought about Profile but I've heard good things about the quality. Really surprised how tricky it's been to find a ring that matches nicely!

Bowman gone. Capo is a lot of fun but the Dart trumps it for commuting and wasn’t awful on bumpy stuff

Ouhlala, great gloss, what's that ?

Oooof. Surely you can't leave it there. Sub 6 is so close

Double checked mine and it's at 6.83kg. I could drop 200g or so but not much more very easily

Update, I have three bikes, they work and I like them all. It’s weird.
Dales need some proper photos but here’s the daily looking all functional

Chomping for Cannondale pictures. Which fork did you go for on the CAAD 9 in the end?

I stuck with the Premium + full carbon but repainted it as i didn’t like the graphics and the lacquer was peeling. Pretty happy with how it turned out

Overdue thanks. Still thinking about that thing we talked about but you can probably tell from the lack of updates and my total absence from the track that bikes are not a priority atm!

What's the rack on the dart? Lovely stuff in here as ever
-

BRN Bernardi/Metro Porteur. Really sturdy lightweight rack for a track bike.

I can't get enough of the Dart, it looks like such a fun bike.
Hoping i'll have three finished bikes soon enough without all the tedious part swaps. CAAD for the track and Capo for the commuter a little silly when i have the Dart but they look nice sitting together!
