Yema is working on something with an integrated bracelet. ~37mm and their "in-house" cal.
Will probably be north of €1000, which is more than i'm willing to pay for a Yema.
Interesting nonetheless.

Interesting. I like the idea of the new watches being smaller like 36-37mm. It’s classy. This Yema, or the sold out Baltic that looks like a Patek but costs less than £500.

I'm enjoying the glashutte original panomaticlunar
Cause that case back

I do as well. Imho a much more versatile size than 40mm. None of my watches are larger than 38mm these days. The Tissot PRX is also rumored to be released in a smaller size later on.

I remember few on here were concerned about water resistance of watches… and I have moved watches on because of that. So… I thought this would get rid of any doubt. This watch is pressure resistant to 5000m diving depth and the case is pressure resistant to 12000m depth, whatever that means. A monster.

I always used to say my sweet spot is 38-40mm, but now, the watches I have, range from 35mm to 44mm (although the Sinn wears great for its size).

Liquid filled UX
OOOF!

I always thought they tend to show bubble on some watches.
-
• #58514
Yeah, I thought so too. It's apparently very common with these. The bubble disappears when its warm, but usually present below 20 degrees C. It's due to some small air pocket being left when filling the watch - it's a bit more common than we might think. Great fun though - I'll WhatsApp you a video now... :-)

I think Yema peaked with the bronze GMT. This is much less appealing. Are dress watches the new tool watches?

This in a 36 or even a 34 would be awesome 👌

Sick. The bit of scuffing on the bezel looks great on this.

Pure tool watch, very cool.

Perlon?

The original vintage design they based it on was 36mm which is why it looks weird in 40mm. A 36 version would be very welcome, though there’s still the problem of it being a bit thick and a bit cheap-looking… I think all those post-Royal Oak designs with integrated bracelets and faceted cases need to have really high quality finishing otherwise they fall a bit flat.

I like that. I keep having thoughts about the quartz SUS reissues, especially the “patina-d” case one.

Love these. I used to work with a photographer that had one, so good in real life and the dial actually looks like an OLED Smart watch does. He's never had a bubble though. I thought that defeated the purpose of filling with oil?

• #58523
Isn't the bubble an intentional feature?
Or am I thinking of U-Boat?

Good point, I’ve not seen on in the flesh yet but yeah… if a 36mm was available I’d go and try one on at least…
